The problem is that we're not just making a little freebie but a full boxed version that has to be in sync with the same software core. we thought the worste that could happen is that it is a little late.

It would have been easier if we already had the full Sonik Synth 2 done and then did our light freebie version AFTER! But, because we love Keyboard magazine and they were so excited about the idea of doing it even before the full version was out. It's hard to time when a new product will be ready. We took a chance trying to time the release of a major piece of software with the May issue as these things are decided months in advance.
I thought there might be a thread going since it's June 1. I was just coming here to post an update. (Admittedly they may not have had anything to do with the delays, and they have to write their articles ahead of time, so last-minute software glitches might not be something they can predict, but still.) What gives? Does anyone know when the download will be available in more detail than that? (Or am I just missing a download link somewhere?) Does anybody else find it kind of cheesy that the article talked about how excited we should all be to get this neat program, "just for being a Keyboard reader," and it not only wasn't available yet, but still isn't even after the issue in question isn't even current anymore? Keyboard should really try to time their promotions a bit better with respect to product availability. It also says that we have to sign up to receive it, but there's no signup link that I can see. It says that we'll be able to play the licks from the magazine with it when it becomes available for download at the end of May. I just remembered this now, and returned to the site. The site claimed that it would be by the end of the month. When I got home, I was very disappointed to discover that the program was not, in fact, available for download yet. This seemed like a great, fun way to demonstrate the program.
